Meet New Veterinary Assistant Instructor, Kylea Cachu

Ms. Cachu’s passion for animals started in high school. During her free time she would volunteer at animal shelters and hospitals and decided to make it into a career and became a Veterinary Technician. As her knowledge for the field grew with her education, so did her passion for teaching the younger generation entering the field.

Following her graduation with an Associates degree in Veterinary medicine and maintaining a Fear Free Veterinary Certification she worked as a trainer in multiple hospitals. Her love for teaching led her to pursue it full-time as a CTE instructor. She chose this path to put her full attention on guiding and inspiring the next generation of Veterinary Assistants.

Students who complete her Animal Science Pathway (Veterinary Assistant) will be qualified to compete for Veterinary Assistant positions in animal veterinary hospitals and boarding kennels and have fundamental knowledge to further their course of study at SoCal ROC and take our Veterinary Science course!
