Anuoluwapo Roberts' professional trajectory has been marked by a commitment to fiscal stewardship and educational excellence, and he is excited to bring his experience and passion to SoCal ROC. He began his career as the Business Office Manager at Culver City Christian School, where he honed his abilities in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial reporting. This foundational experience prepared him for his role as the Director of Finance at CHAMPS Charter High School of the Arts, where he spearheaded initiatives to optimize financial processes and enhance transparency. His journey continued as the Senior Director of Fiscal Services at Compton Unified School District. During his tenure, he successfully led financial initiatives that resulted in an exceptional A+ credit rating from S&P Global. This achievement not only solidified the district's financial standing but also elevated the rating of its general obligation bonds from A to A+, demonstrating his ability to drive tangible results and navigate complex financial landscapes. Academically, he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Lagos State University, where he cultivated a deep understanding of accounting and financial principles. To further expand his expertise, he pursued an MBA in Finance from California State University-Dominguez Hills, refining his strategic acumen and leadership skills. Mr. Roberts also completed the Chief Business Official (CBO) Mentorship Program at the University of Southern California.
His hobbies include playing the keyboard, Guitar, and spending time with his family.
